Dominique is in the 5th grade. When Dominique was 8 years old, she joined her school’s chorus and began to sing at school events and their seasonal shows. In 4th grade, Dominique started to sing for her church Parish. That year Dominique entered vocal competitions. At Dominique’s first competition, she won Elite Gold then went on to win Extreme Platinum at another competition. At both competitions, she won 3rd place total high score. This included all types’of performers at the same competitions.

Dominique auditioned and received the part of Christine that she performed in a junior production of Phantom of the Opera. (Dominique idolizes Emmy Rossum and wants to be just like her).

From there, Dominique auditioned to sing the National Anthem for the NY Met’s minor league baseball team, the Brooklyn Cyclones. Dominique was chosen out of the many that auditioned and she sang the National Anthem at Keyspan Park in July 2006. A corporate executive heard her sing and said “that girl should sing for the NYC METROPOLITAN OPERA”!

Dominique auditioned for the Metropolitan Opera House in August of 2006. She was so excited that she would actually meet Emmy Rossum’s vocal coach, Elena Doria. That day, Dominique left her audition with a contract in her hands and a HUGE smile on her face and now is in the Metropolitan Children’s Chorus. (For Dominique, her dream of being and working at the NYC MET became a reality!)

In September of 2006, Dominique sang the National Anthem for the U.S. Maritime Security Expo Awards Ceremony at the Jacobs Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Dominique preformed in the 2006 season run of Tosca and had the privilege to meet and perform in Tosca with Mr. Jose Cura, (Considered to be The 4th Tenor) and Mr. Cura said “that girl has something special.” He saw it in her eyes.

In December 2006, Dominique sang the National Anthem for Bishop DiMarzio’s Christmas Luncheon at the Steiner Movie Studios in Brooklyn, New York. Maurice Dubois was the Master of Ceremony for the Luncheon.

This April 2007, Dominique will be performing in the NYC Metropolitan Opera’s new production of IL TRITTICO and she was casted to be in the NYC MET’S 2007 - 2008 season of La Boheme.

Everywhere Dominique goes she touches someone heart and soul. There are people that are requesting Dominique to sing at their parish for special occasions and for her to sing at wedding ceremonies.
